Eric reminded everyone that perambulations between towns take place every seven years and the town lines between Sullivan and Gilsum and Sullivan and Stoddard are due to be done soon. Eric will speak to the selectmen about it.

Town clean-up day will be on either April 27th or May 4th, depending on which date is most suitable for everyone.
Having no other business, the members spent the evening revising and up-dating the Conservation section of the new Master plan.

Ralph Jernberg of Gilsum would like the conservation commissions from both towns to get together to meet and discuss a town line perambulation (overdue), etc.
The commission‘s budget proposal will remain the same as last year, keeping the money in for elementary school conservation education even though we don’t know which school students will be attending.

Eric contacted Duncan Watson at the Keene Recycling Station and we’re back on the list for hazardous waste disposal.
Eric received a bill from the Harris Center for the coming year – a Harris Center instructor will give presentations, etc. at Gilsum School.

The meeting was called to order at 7:10 pm. There was no vote to accept the minutes of the July meeting. This will take place at the next meeting.
There was a discussion and vote passed to contribute the usual $500 to the Harris Center for a naturalist educator to go to the Gilsum School, if a curriculum can be designed for this coming school year.

$20 was sent to the after-school program towards worms for their composting program. A thank you was received from Sullivan School for the Harris Center Program.

Swift Corwin will get the paperwork concerning the cut on the Town Farm to Eric soon. Hopefully the cut can be done this summer. Part of the trail should be re-flagged. It is suspected that red squirrels have taken down some of the flags as they don’t like certain colors. Roger has gotten verbal permission from Mary Parker to make a connector trail across her property onto Cross Road.
