The minutes of the February meeting were accepted as read.
Bob Switzer has a copy of the photo Hilliare wanted to use for the cover of the town report. If it can’t be used as the cover next year, the commission could possibly use it as part of their report. The image may copy better on plain paper rather than colored cover stock.
It was noted that James Walters will go to the ZBA again with more information for his auto repair shop on Route 9.

It was decided to hold town clean-up day on April 26th.

Minutes of the November meeting were approved as written. No meeting was held in January.
Butch told the commission the selectmen have received the legal wording of the easement and it should be signed at the Jan. 20th selectmen’s meeting.
The commission decided not to ask for more funding for their capital reserve fund at this year’s town meeting. Eric will explain in the annual commission report for the town report.
Minutes of the October meeting were accepted with one amendment. The last line of the paragraph concerning the Brooks easements should read: Following that a warrant article will be considered for town meeting in March and a public hearing to follow that.
Eric contacted Anne McBride on the status of the final draft for the easements on the Brooks property. Her office has been working on the Conservancy accreditation and she hopes to have the easement ready to present to the selectmen soon.

Eric read a note from Christa Patterson’s family to the commission expressing their thanks for our support and thoughts after her passing.
Janet Altobello from the Harris Center asked for clarification on the use of our funds at Nelson School. Eric advised her that the choice is up to the teachers and the Harris Center as to what might work best for them.

Eric took a moment to recognize Christa Patterson for her dedication to our community, her concern for the land, its history and its future and her endless enthusiasm for sharing her passion for growing anything green. Randy suggested she might be memorialized somewhere in town and Roger wondered about the land off Martin Court.
