BRING your camera to the library this summer and take a picture of  your kids or yourself as an underwater deep sea diver in the fabulous artwork of Ella Pratt Lesatele this summer!

The ANNUAL SUMMER READING CONTEST with Gilsum has begun!  The final day of weighing is August 7.

The library offers Notary Public services.

Friends of the Library 

The next meeting of the Friends of the Library will be August 5, 2010.

The Friends of the Library:

• meet at 7:15 p.m. usually on the first Thursday of the month at the library
• do not have any fees or dues to pay for membership
• organize 3 events per year: a book sale around Memorial Day, a craft fair and book sale in November and Santa Day in December. The proceeds from these events are used to support the library, i.e. purchasing supplies, software, and other items not covered by the library's budget.
• provide refreshments for the summer reading program and other events sponsored by the library.
