Minutes of December 22, 2008

Selectmen present: Cheryl Labadie, Bob Thayer

The meeting was called to order at 7:30pm

Payroll and bills were accepted

Purchase orders were reviewed and approved.

A building permit for Tom and Melinda Sherpa was tentatively approved; they were not present and haven’t paid the $25.00 fee. Once the fee is paid the permit will be official.

A copy of a letter to the editor written by Roger and Ann Sweet was read.  They have been without electricity since 12/11 and are very thankful for the help that they have received from the Fire/Rescue Dept. The Fire dept. kept an eye on them both day and night. 

Kudos to Al Henry and the dept. for checking on and making sure everyone had what they needed to get through this emergency.

The budget committee will be meeting on December 30 at 6:30. Cheryl has coordinated with dept. heads to attend this meeting.

The minutes from 12/15 were approved.

The meeting was adjourned at 7:55
