Minutes of February 11, 2008

Selectmen present: Rick Hotchkiss, Cheryl Labadie 

City Officials present: Al Henry and Randy Smith 

The meeting was called to order at 7:30pm 

Town bills were reviewed and accepted. 

A junkyard permit for William Kingsbury was submitted and approved. 

Randy Smith submitted purchase order for sand for the town in the amount of $4400.00 this will be purchased from Henniker Crushed stone. He also submitted a Purchase order for road salt in the amount of $2020.00. Both were approved. Randy has a concern that the transmission on the Town truck has an issue; he brought this to the selectmen's attention and was advised to investigate different ways to solve the problem. 

It was discussed that Fawn will compose a letter for the townspeople; this letter will have a date for a question and answer session with selectmen regarding the MRSD teacher's retirement issue. 

The meeting was adjourned at 8:15 PM
