Minutes of July 7, 2008

Selectmen present: Cheryl Labadie and Rick Hotchkiss 

Town Officials present: Steve Hamilton and Al Henry 

The meeting was called to order at 7:30PM 

Payroll and bills were reviewed and approved 

Purchase orders were approved- Southwestern Community Services annual appropriation $1000.00-PB&H Equipment-filters for grader and backhoe $432.03—Town of Nelson-reimbursement for 5/26 forest fire $694.86. The propane pre buys from Keene Gas are in the amounts of $3128.12 and $3843.60. 

The building permit application has been revised- the copies were reviewed and approved. 

Steve Hamilton was representing the Planning board regarding concerns of non action on the selectmen part concerning non compliant citizens and businesses. The planning board feels that there is not enough action taken to enforce Town regulations imposed by the planning board. Some of the concerns are as follows: Ed Csenge, Kinson’s gravel pit, Scott Alexander Trucking, Paquette's logging. Rick H. assured Steve H. that these would be looked into more thoroughly. 

Eric White is concerned about the Reisenberg subdivision granted by Nelson. The Town of Sullivan was not involved in this decision at all and according to regulations there should only be 4 lots and there happen to be 5, one of which is in Sullivan. Steve Hamilton suggests that the Reienberg’s come in and talk to Sullivan regarding this 5th lot. The deed may not be legal concerning the 5th lot. 

Minutes from 6/23/2008 were approved
