Minutes of September 15, 2008
Selectmen present: Rick Hotchkiss, Cheryl Labadie
Town Officials present: Al Henry and Karl Wheeler
The meeting was called to order at 7:30 PM
Town bills were reviewed and approved.
The ZBA is holding two variance meetings in Town hall so the Selectmen go downstairs to meet.
Purchase orders are reviewed and approved- NH Correctional Industries (highway dept.), Bergevin’s and Meadow wood Fire School (fire dept.).
Jeremy LaPlante, from Homeland Security and emergency management field rep. for the Town of Sullivan spoke to the Selectmen concerning updating the Towns emergency management plan (Homeland multi-hazard mitigation plan). The Town will receive $5000.00 for this process. The selectmen approved this and signed for the approval of this plan.
Karl Wheeler let the Selectmen know that he found a new cruiser, a Ford Explorer. David Ford gave a great deal to the Town. He needs to update the lights but the other equipment can be transferred from the old cruiser to the new one.
Al Henry needs inspections for Fire vehicles. The fire dept. needs high speed internet, Scott Lake is looking into this.
Crystal Rokes came looking for a building permit, she needs an energy approval number then she will be approved.
