Vehicle Registrations

All vehicle registrations' new, renewals or transfers are done  here at the Town Hall. You have the choice of doing the Town portion and or the State portion. Special exceptions excluded.Photo ID's are required to register, renew or transfer your registrations.  Residents also have the option of mailing in their registration renewals once they receive their renewal paperwork that is sent to them. I am hoping you all are enjoying the options now available to you.

Register to Vote

Voter registrations may be done when the Supervisors of the Checklist meet, day of election or also at the Town Clerk’s office. Registrants must provide proof of citizenship (birth certificate, driver’s license, and passport, service discharge papers or naturalization papers), proof of age, and proof of domicile in Sullivan. Photo ID's are also required.

Register a Dog

Each dog four months or older must be licensed prior to April 30th of each year. You may register your dog any time from January 1st on.  Documentation of current rabies vaccination is required at the time of registration. Owners who fail to license their dogs by May 31st are subject to additional fees or forfeiture of the animals to the dog officer in the town. Cats are not licensed in New Hampshire.

Vital Statistics

The Town Clerk’s office is the depository of vital records consisting of births, marriages and deaths. Records 50 years old or prior are available for public perusal. For a fee of $15.00, the town clerk may research protected vital records and prepares a report. Copies of birth, death, marriage certificates and civil unions, are available for a fee of $15.00. The NH Dept of Vital Records requires photo identification from customers requesting copies of vital records.

Marriage Licenses

Couples wishing to obtain a marriage license in Sullivan must bring proof of age, birthplace and proof of any previous marriages ending in death, divorce or civil annulment. The fee for the licenses is $45.00. The license application is good for 90 days after it is dated. The first copy of the original certificate is $15.00 for a total of $60.00.

Tax Collecting

You are now able to go on the internet to check your Tax Bill , your assessment values, keep track of your payments, plus you can also calculate interest fees and then print it all out. 
Just go to:  sullivan.nhtaxkiosk.com, and enter your town and name.

Property Tax bills are sent out twice a year. The years' first billing is usually always due on July 1st. The 2nd billing is due in December.  Payment of your property taxes must be returned to the Tax Collector’s Office at the Sullivan Town Hall. Address is:

New Hampshire Hunting and Fishing Licenses

Hunting and fishing licenses will not be sold at the Town Clerk’s office after January 1st 2014.  This is due to changes at the NH Fish&Game Dept.

Renting the Sullivan Town Hall Meeting Room

If you or your organization are interested in renting the meeting room at the Sullivan Town Hall for an event, download the attached Rental Agreement in PDF format, fill it out and return it to the Town Clerk.
